Since initial formation in 1988, CGP has successfully expanded its knowledge base into a range of related domains.  Our inital core expertise was in the defence sector where our founders had worked in the Air Defence command and control domain, particularly in tactical datalinks.  This was subsequently expanded into other military applications, such as joint operations and air command & control, as well as into the civil sector where we have become expert in various aspects of Air Traffic Management.  In addition to evolutionary expansion with domains, we have also sought other business areas where we can reuse out technical skills.  For example, in our meteorological messaging applications group now has arrange of baseline products that can be used to create bespoke solutions for a wide range of applications.
